Getting ready for GDPR

In May after more than 3-years of discussion the EU General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR framework will come into force.

This directive will replace the current 1998 Data Protection Act and is fundamentally about giving individuals more control over their personal data, impose stricter rules to companies handling it and make sure companies embrace new technology.

We welcome the changes as it will ensure we all have more rights on the way our data and personal information is collected, stored, processed, retained and used.

At Plum Personnel the privacy and security of the tens of thousands of

people who have registered with us since 2001 has always been treated with respect and integrity.

We are now working on enhancing our systems, policies and procedures

in preparation and will be keeping you posted.
