Our Client is in the construction industry, based in central Solihull. They are seeking an experienced and proactive Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable Assistant to join the existing team of 3.

Salary up to £24,000 + 36 days holiday!!

Your main responsibilities would be to ensure the smooth, accurate and efficient running of the Purchase Ledger. Also Bank reconciliations and ensuring invoices are processed in a timely fashion. You will be handling queries and liaising with suppliers regarding invoice queries.

As part of the Purchase Ledger team you will be:
Processing invoices using Sage 50 and Evision
Handling statement reconciliations
Chasing and matching PO's
Making payments
Monitoring emails and dealing with external suppliers
Assisting with year end tasks

We are seeking…
An experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk
Competent on SAGE 50 or Evision
Knowledge of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) would be helpful but not essential
Seeking a permanent opportunity working as a committed member of a great team

It's a busy role so we need someone with a positive "can do" attitude. No doubt you will have good IT skills, be able to meet deadlines and work to a high standard of accuracy.
