The Opportunity
As our Project Support Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in supporting major works for both residential and schools and universities, from project inception through to delivery.
Working closely with the Sales Managers contractors, planners, and site teams, you'll ensure supplies for projects are effectively coordinated, stock is strategically managed, and customers receive an exceptional service experience.
You'll become the central point of coordination for live projects, helping to maintain project momentum whilst providing valuable insight into future project pipelines.
What You'll Be Doing
Processing orders and coordinating delivery of product to projects from order placement through to site delivery.Maintaining and managing a central project Spreadsheet, ensuring accurate and up-to-date project information.Taking part in regular project review meetings and providing key updates to stakeholders.Building strong relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and construction site teams to maintain effective communication and project visibilityManaging stock allocation and working closely with planning teams to ensure product availability aligns with project requirements.Communicating project changes quickly and effectively across sales, planning, and operational teams.Supporting forecasting activities by maintaining accurate information on current and future project demands.Organising deliveries and ensuring projects receive the right products at the right time.
Essential Skills & Experience
Experience in project coordination, sales support, customer service, Accounts Management or a similar administrative role.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.A proactive approach to problem-solving and project follow-up.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Commercial awareness and confidence working with data, forecasts, and schedules.
An understanding of the residential construction, housebuilding, or specification sector would be helpful but not essential.Experience of stock planning, order management, or contractor coordination.
