Due to growth we're seeking an experienced Mortgage Underwriter with a Lending Mandate to join an established and winning team based in fabulous offices.

You will no doubt have worked in a similar role as an Underwriter for at and have extensive and significant practical underwriting experience together with a current lending mandate.

We're seeking someone who has the ability to make decisions based on an assessment of risk and policy and have knowledge of the UFSS and MAPs Mortgage Systems. On a regular basis your responsibilities as a Mortgage Underwriter will extend to ...

- obtaining the highest mortgage mandate available within the underwriting department
- applying a mortgage mandate to mortgage applications and mortgage referrals against the lending policy
- ensuring offers are produced correctly with regard to product clauses, sub account splits and valuation issues.
- approving all types of self-employed applications
- acting as a referral point for complex underwriting queries and cases ... and more!

Whilst a full CeMAP qualifications would be desirable - it's not essential as training and professional development is available.

Your professional experience as an Underwriter of mortgages will be complemented by your excellent communication skills, time management and commitment to delivery a high level of customer service.
