We're recruiting for an outstanding role for an experienced and qualified Human Resource Manager - a HR professional with Board experience.

You'll be working for an ambitious, growing, Award winning and prestigious construction company with over 100 employees across 3 regions.

The role will be reporting to the CEO and will be supported by an HR Administrator and be based at their Head Office in Solihull.

Your focus will be to work at a strategic level with the Executive Board members and be proactive in implementing systems, processes and standards around the HR function.

The over-arching responsibility will be to working with the Board to develop at a strategic level the HR policies, systems and procedures to support the future ambitions and growth of the Company to include -

*Audit
*Remuneration and reward
*Corporate Governance
*Training and competency framework

In addition you will have responsibilities which will extend to -

*Preparation of handbooks
*Plans for induction, appraisals and career development

You will also have responsibilities to ensure the organisation's conditions of employment, salaries, pay, bonus, appraisals will be competitive in the market.

You'll receive strong support from the Board to work on strategies for diversity, gender pay and mental well-being.

No doubt you will have extensive experience working in a senior HR Management role and working with a diverse workforce. You will have the level of confidence and strong communications and negotiation skills required to work effectively at Board level.

Ideally a background working in construction would be of benefit but is not essential.

You will be well-versed in managing
-
*complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, long-term sick leave, redundancy, etc
*talent and succession planning
*learning and development policy

You will have achieved a level 7 CIPD qualification and have a real ambition to have your voice heard and to be an integral part of a respected, growing and successful company.
