Finance Officer
Solihull
Temporary – 3 Months
Part Time – 14 hours a week (2/3 Days)
£20.00ph
We are currently seeking a part time Finance Officer to join a friendly team in Shirley on a part time temporary basis from 1st September 2025. You will be working within a Not for Profit organisation preparing financial reports, managing budgets, and ensuring timely statutory accounts.
We require experience in
- Managing Sage accounting systems and ensuring up-to-date financial records
- Preparing annual budgets and statutory accounts
- Producing quarterly and monthly financial reports for the Board
- Overseeing residents’ accounts and liaising on rent and arrears
- Managing payroll, VAT returns, banking, and treasury functions
- Ensuring timely supplier payments and reconciliations
We need someone who has
- Proven experience in financial management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Sage or similar accounting software
- Excellent understanding of budgeting, payroll, VAT, and financial reporting
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
If you have worked previously within a Not for Profit or Charity then this would be a bonus but not a must for this role.
