Finance Manager - Accountant
£45,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience
Location: South Birmingham

Our client is a large, very well established and well respected family owned Care Home in South Birmingham. We are seeking a hands-on, qualified Finance Manager/Accountant with a good working knowledge of Sage 50

You will be managing two other staff members, being the Payroll and Finance Assistant

Your role will involve:

*Responsibility for the overall Accounts and Finance of the Business
*Producing regular Management Accounts, monthly reporting to include income, labour and occupancy
*Budgets, Financial auditing, assisting with tenders, projects and grants
*Year-end Accounts and filing accounts for all companies within the Group
*Generating invoices for both Private and Health Authority clients. Managing Direct debit system for private clients
*Debtor control and resolving any funding discrepancies
*Overseeing Payroll and Purchase Ledger and reviewing annual service contracts

The ideal person will have:

*ACCA/CIMA or QBE 10years+
*Extensive knowledge of SAGE 50, both Accounting and payroll
*Excellent Excel skills including VLookUp and pivot tables and the ability to aggregate data into reports for reconciliation and contract management.
*Previous experience gained within a Care Home environment would be beneficial, but not essential.
