Senior Liability Claims Handlers - Public Sector
Birmingham
Hybrid working 2/3 days in the office
Salary up to £28,000

A global company who provide an outsourced Claims service to a variety of Public sector organisations are seeking an experienced Claims Handler.

You will be providing a service that is second to none, in handling injury claims from start to finish on behalf of Public Sector organisations.

Previous insurance experience within an insurance or legal environment would be essential.

You will be:
* Investigating all liability claims personally or via an appointed Loss Adjuster
* Making the decision on liability and negotiating settlement of the claim
* Working with compliance and within all legal timescales
* Building relationships with external Clients and Stakeholders

Previous experience and knowledge is essential in all of the following:
* The insurance market, the claims process and how to value a claim
* Understanding policy wording and Terms & Conditions
* Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and the Claims Portal

You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as excellent Customer Service skills and the ability to balance your own workload and work within a great team….
