Our client is a successful and well established retailer with over 300 stores nationwide. Due to significant growth they are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join their Buying Division and start or continue their career as a Purchaser.

This is a unique opportunity for a driven and detail orientated person to establish their career within procurement or purchasing, as a buyer for a fast growing business, that encourages career development.

You'll be working as part of a dynamic team of Buyers, you will be trained to assist with sourcing and supplying stock on behalf of stores across the UK as well as handling any queries regarding deliveries.

Daily responsibilities will include:

*Placing orders according to demand and managing customs importation documents
*Dealing with suppliers' delivery and stock queries as well as providing admin support to the buying team
*Keeping accurate records and reporting on sales trends, doing price comparisons and reviewing pricing and promotional plans

The successful candidate will be:

*An excellent communicator, strong Customer Service skills and confident in dealing with people at all levels
*Strong organisational skills and able to work to deadlines
*Good numeracy skills and excellent with all Microsoft packages and generally good at picking up systems and processes, although full training will be given

A degree or equivalent in any subject would be preferable, although not essential.
