We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a awesomely successful organisation in FMCG whilst they are recruiting on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for full AP ledger management in an FMCG/Stock based environment.

The role will be working from home and occasionally in the office based in Hampton in Arden.

It's a busy, fast-paced environment working with a small friendly and supportive team.

Your key skills will include -

- high attention to detail
- able to demonstrate ability in AP ledger and stock management
- a positive can do attitude

This role will be ideal if you have an appetite to learn as you will have the opportunity to support the Management Accountant with month end processes and be involved in additional value-add projects as well as learn about other areas of the department to expand your experience.

On a day-to-day basis you will be

Processing and coding supplier invoices on to the ledger
Processing stock invoices against PO's
Investigating any queries which may arise
Weekly production of the supplier payments run for review with the Finance Manager ... and so much more!

No doubt your CV will show a strong track record of successful AP ledger management and experience of working in a FMCG/Stock Environment.

If you've experience of dealing with international businesses and currencies - this will be a distinct advantageous.

You'll also be wanting to carve a career in accounting so ideally you will have achieved or be working towards a recognised accounting qualification - AAT, ACCA, CIMA.
