09.00 - 5.00pm (Half an hour lunch) Flexibility around the hours
£26,000 - £28,000 dep on experience + free parking on site and 25 days holiday

Our client is a well-established family run construction company that manage both new build and refurbishment projects. They are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their supportive and friendly team.

Working alongside the Accounts Manager you will be:

*Handling Purchase ledger and sales ledger
*Chasing and matching PO's
*Making payments
*Bank reconciliation
*Posting invoices
*Dealing with account queries via email and telephone
*Carrying out general administrative tasks
*Other ad hoc duties as required

You will:

*Have previous Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger experience
*Competent with Microsoft Word & Excel
*Have excellent communication skills and the ability to hit the ground running
*Knowledge of Quickbooks Accounting system and the CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) would be very helpful but not essential.
