Senior Management Accounts Assistant - NHS
This is an ongoing post to start ASAP.
Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
Sutton Coldfield
£14.54p/h

Do you have extensive and in-depth financial management experience?

Are you proficient in understanding and applying fundamental accounting issues,such as accruals/commitment accounting, double entry etc?

Are you educated to AAT or equivalent experience?

You will be responsible for:

+ Producing monthly financial statements and written reports for the Business Units to agreed timetables and accurately interpret trends, identify problems and make recommendations for solutions
+ Monitoring and analysing complex expenditure data and budget trends and identify reasons for variances highlighting areas of concern to the line manager and relevant budget holder
+ Ensuring budget reconciliation sheets are completed on a timely basis and are
available to finance colleagues/groups accountants
+ Working closely with budget holders/managers as appropriate to look for income
opportunities and have an input to the process needed to attract this income
+ Providing accurate costings for service line reporting and liaises with the
reference costing process to ensure consistency
