Monday - Friday 09.00 - 5.00pm

As an experienced HR Adviser you will provide an effective, business focused operational Human Resources support. With previous knowledge and experience of relevant NHS policies, you will be available to start immediately.

As HR Adviser you will be:

*Providing advice to managers and staff on Agenda for change terms and conditions of employment, Human Resource policies and procedures, employment legislation's, pay, work life balance initiatives, conditions of service and contractual matters ensuring up to date knowledge of Agenda for Change
*Producing BI reports to identify trends and triggers and liaising with Managers regarding meetings regarding sickness reviews.
*Providing support and advice to managers dealing with long and short term absences including ill health, retirement and dismissal and to support the management of these cases from a HR perspective.
*Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with Occupational Health to ensure that sickness absence is managed appropriately.
*Supporting the Assistant HR Business Partner with programmes of recruitment and selection
*Providing specialist Human Resource support to managers on all aspects of casework, grievance, discipline, capability and performance, bullying, harassment and management of attendance.
*Attending meetings and taking minutes of behalf of the HR Directorate as necessary

You will:

*Have a knowledge of relevant NHS policy and guidelines and an understanding to Equality and Diversity
*Be educated to degree level or equivalent
*Be able to demonstrate a business focused approach to Human Resources matters
*Be experienced in delivering front line advice and guidance to operational managers to advise of employee related issues and delivering training and presentations
*Have the ability to produce excel reports, PowerPoint presentations have a full understanding of Windows office
