Quality & Standards Assurance Project Lead - NHS


£24.53 per hour - BANDS 8a

Monday - Friday - 09.00 - 5.00pm

Temporary - 12 weeks initially

Working across the Divisions, Directorates and corporate specialists to ensure compliance and improvement, you will be responsible for the management of the CQC regulations across the Trust. You will be a specialist within your field with the ability to offer specialist advice to corporate specialists and Divisions.

You will be:

*Overseeing and managing the self-assessment compliance system for the Trust
*Making recommendations for database development, running routine reports and creating reports to monitor data
*Using the self-assessment compliance system you will be able to offer Board level assurance of compliance against those standards
*Leading the Trusts Internal Quality Review Programme to ensure the compliance of external regulatory standards
*Writing and presenting IQR Reports following review visits, this includes making judgements regarding standards of care against set standards
*Providing advice and support to Directorates and Divisions on regulatory requirement of the Care Quality Commission
*Managing a delegated budget and identity areas for cost improvement
*Undertaking presentations and providing training to staff on Internal Quality Reviews, Policies and Procedures, and bespoke training services

You will:

*Have an understanding of the national perspective and future strategy for the NHS to enable you to contribute effectively
*Possess a Master's Degree or equivalent highly developed specialist knowledge of quality standards and policy management for a large complex organisation
*Evidence of management qualification
*Possess a well-developed political awareness, influencing and negotiating skills
*Experience of working with Senior Managers/Directors and external stakeholders
*Experience of making presentation aimed at senior clinical and management staff groups
*Experience of preparing board level reports and chairing meetings
*Possess excellent analytical skills, excellent organisation skills and the ability to work under pressure
