We're delighted to be supporting the recruitment of a Payroll Assistant to work within this established company based in modern offices on an up and coming Business Park

You MUST have recent experience working at an ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICE and within a payroll bureau and have a payroll qualification

You will be working to strict deadlines, undertaking various duties for a number of clients. You will be responsible for processing payroll, setting up new employees, imputing contractual changes and liaising with all clients on a daily basis.

It is essential you have previous experience working within a payroll bureau, processing payroll using a variety of systems. You will of course have excellent knowledge of PAYE legislation including statutory deductions, knowledge of auto enrolment and pension schemes. You will also need good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. You will be self-motivated, efficient and hardworking, having good communication skills, attention to detail and able to take responsibility and ownership.
