WORKING IN WELL-LOCATED OFFICES OF A WELL ESTABLISHED SOLICITORS FIRM

We're seeking an experienced and outgoing Legal Secretary ideally with COMMERCIAL PROPERTY experience. You'll be playing a key role in the smooth running of this department.

As a Legal Secretary you will assist in the provision of all general secretarial and administrative support to approximately 2 busy Fee Earners. An experienced professional you should be able to ease seamlessly into this position.

Drawing on your communication skills you will be building strong relationships with clients, handling and reacting to queries, resolving them wherever possible. Strong attention to detail - completing and typing of letters and documentation to compliance standards and deadlines will be part of this busy rewarding role.

A varied Legal Secretary role:-
* co-ordinating the fee earners' billing
* diary management
* audio/ copy typing
* dealing with the Land Registry and HMRC forms
* ad hoc duties such as marketing and events may well also be thrown into the mix so adaptability is key.

It is essential that you have previous legal secretary experience and competencies in the following areas ....

*Competency in Audio Typing (>65wpm)
*RSA 1, 2 or 3
*Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
*Effective and professional communication skills
*Working in a similar role in an office environment
*Knowledge of commercial or residential conveyancing


You'll no doubt be self-motivated but with a strong team ethic and customer focus. Previous experience of working in a legal team in a Property department is required.
