As leaders in the design and manufacture of high end products - they are relocating to awesome offices in the centre of Birmingham and hand picking talented people for their new
internal sales team.

In a nutshell your role will be building strong relationships with a portfolio of business customers, both existing and new (including re-engaging with declining or lapsed accounts).

Central to you role with be helping to identify their needs and promote products and solutions.

You will become a product expert and be able to communicate your knowledge to professionals in the building and construction industry from Architects to Contractors.

This role is only suited to those who are inquisitive, proactive and a true problem solver with uber fabulous communication skills and who have strong desire to establish a career path in sales (professional development and progression opportunities are very much part of the offer for successful candidates).

Your CV will clearly show a solid track record for working in a sales role where building relationships is key. Your success will have been in a business to business role where you have enjoyed establishing rapport and developing business opportunities. You will be theone who has the ability to identify new opportunities, to promote products and solutions to industry professionals - the one who stands out.

You will be supporting Account Managers in meeting or exceeding their annual targets as well as helping with new projects.

This will involve developing and cultivating relationships with professionals in the design and construction industry as well as generating leads and scheduling sales appointments for your Account Managers

A typical day will vary from conducting ongoing research to recommending potential products or services to collecting customer information and analyzing customer need.

You'll be managing the process of pricing internally (using the JD Edwards system) and quoting to selected accounts.

On a weekly basis you'll be arranging conference calls with your Account Managers to prioritise weekly activities, discuss opportunities to be developed in sales funnel and so much more!

You will be dealing with customers and industry professionals from the UK and internationally and will be expected to not only understand customer needs but also expertly talk about the company products as well as seek out new business opportunities.

If you have worked on the JD Edwards or similar CRM this will be a distinct advantage.
