Previous NHS experience?

As my clients IG Specialist, you will be responsible for:

+ Strategic planning for all information security areas, which includes monitoring, improving and developing the overall Information security of the organisation
+ Combining security specialist knowledge and a high level of technical competence and experience to develop strategies to improve the security posture of the Trust
+ Identifying all key information security risks across the business (including, products, solutions, systems, data, people and processes), assessing these risks to prioritise assurance activities, and working with the business to ensure that effective controls are in place

To be successfully considered for this role you will have demonstrable experience in developing and implementing information governance, data privacy strategies, policies, and procedures teamed with practical experience in developing and implementing information security and data protection standards. You will also have experience of carrying out IT audits with knowledge of current security risks and protocols.

Candidates must have a solid work history of a minimum of 3 years.
