plus early finish Friday

Monday - Friday

(Holiday pattern is based on the factory shut down dates - with some flexibility)

Our client has an opportunity for an organised HR Assistant to join their small friendly up-beat HR team.

You will be responsible for all of the typical HR duties, including recruitment, absence monitoring and working on ad-hoc projects.

You will be involved with a variety of projects including -

* Monitoring sickness and responsibility for long term sickness absences
* Recruitment support for both temporary and permanent employees
* Maintenance of accurate HR records
* Auditing of HR files and documentation
* Attending monthly Union meetings
* Involvement in Disciplinary Hearings
* Assisting with general HR duties and additional duties as required

You will have a pivotal role within the team, providing essential HR Assistant support. It goes without saying that you will have a strong work ethic, be totally trustworthy and build respect within the organisation as a go-to "face" within HR.

It is an exciting time to join an established, busy team, who take a pride in what they do. CIPD qualified to Level 5?

N.B. A car driver is needed as the role may involve some travel to local sites - max 25 miles.
