Housekeeper - NHS

West Heath, Birmingham B38

£9.18 per hour - BAND 2

Temporary Part time - starting ASAP on a fortnightly basis

Working Monday - Friday 07.00am - 1.00pm

As an experienced Housekeeper you will have a Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification and possess an NVQ level 2 in British Institute of Cleaning Science in Domestic Services, along with a good knowledge of Health and Safety including COSSH and safe systems of Cleaning

Working to national cleaning standards, you will be:

*Undertaking set schedules for cleaning tasks of equipment
*Ensuring the day room and dining areas are kept clean and presentable for patients
*Ensuring there are sufficient ingredient available for beverages, ward provisions and condiments
*Assisting with the curtain change programme, bed making and managing the quality of linen
*Reporting the needs for any estate maintenance to the Senior Housekeeper
*Responsible for ensuring the housekeeping tasks have been undertaken competently in order that the Trust performs well in internal and external audits

You will:

*Have the ability to show empathy and understanding of patients' needs
*Able to work well along and within a team
*Be able to deliver the highest levels of customer service promoting a professional and caring manner

Plum Personnel Ltd will pay the associated costs for your Occupational Screening and the Mandatory Training (essential) - this will be at a reduced fee of £30 which will be deducted from your pay over the first 3-weeks or on completion of your assignment (whichever comes first).
