Hours: 0700-1600 hours Mon-Thurs, Fri till 1200 hours

Some flexibility on occasions to meet business needs plus travel to additional local locations (Car driver/ owner essential)

Are you an experienced Health & Safety expert with a flexible approach, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels looking for a new role with a first class manufacturing company?

Our client is seeking someone with -

*Good understanding of Health and Safety, Environment and Welfare Legislation?
*Ability to maintain and implement policies and procedures?
*Knowledge of engineering / manufacturing environment?

Are you experienced within H&S, Environment and Welfare to enable you to take responsibility for policies and procedures within their Head Office and local sites? Confident in your own ability you will be IOSH qualified as a minimum and be able to drive this area of the Safety team without the need for supervision.

As a Health & Safety Officer you will manage your time effectively and be responsible for:-

*Ensuring the smooth management of H&S, Welfare and Environment over several sites
*Communicating related issues within all levels of the business
*Solving issues and assist with identifying improvement activities for the business
*Assessment activities, company Safety and Accident reporting and stats
*Additional duties such as co-ordinating fire alarm/ drills, noise surveys, First Aid, Contractor safety and employee H&S Inductions
