Facilities Supervisor - NHS

Moseley, Birmingham B13

Temporary - 4 weeks+

Paying £10.04 per hour Band 3

Hours between 07.00 - 8.00pm across seven days

Qualified in Level 2 Hygiene and British Institute of Cleaning Science you will be experienced and qualified at providing a high quality housekeeping service ensuring the service promotes patient care to ensure the clinical environment is presented and maintained.

You will be:

*Responsible for staff rotas
*Organising staffing over 7 day period ensuring all services are covered - meals, linen deliveries and waste collection
*Supervising where necessary and undertaking scheduled tasks which support housekeeping, including the cleaning of clinical equipment following set schedules
*Managing annual leave requests and identifying areas for continuous improvement
*Ensuring the best use of bank staff to cover absences and carrying out return to work sickness interviews
*Interviewing new staff and undertaking weekly audits
*Undertaking ad hoc cleaning tasks as required to ensure compliance
*Responsible for ensuring appropriate staff are available to provide the facilities service
*Responsible for managing the curtain change programme, ensuring bed making is delivered in accordance with agreed programme

You will have:

*Relevant experience in supervising facilities services in a healthcare environment
*Experience of handling confidential and sensitive information at a site level
*Experience of developing good relationships with stakeholders
*Experience in the implementation of ongoing supervision of facilities related to risk management policies and procedures
*Effective influencing and negotiation skills and excellent communication skills
*Able to deliver training and instruction to staff in best practice and methods of work

Plum Personnel Ltd will pay the upfront associated costs for your Occupational Screening and the Mandatory Training (essential) - this will be at a reduced fee of £30 which will be deducted from your pay over the first 3-weeks or on completion of your assignment (whichever comes first).
