Customer Service Advisor/Collections

Shirley, Solihull

Salary: up to £21,000 (depending on experience) basic per annum

Up to 10% performance related bonus + parking + flexible benefits + great career opportunities.

37.5 hours per week on shift patterns which will be across the following hours
0800 - 2000 hours Monday - Thursday
0800 - 1900 hours Friday
0800 - 1400 hours Saturday

Collections,Credit Control or Debt Recovery experience is essential with strong objection handling ability and negotiation skills. However, you may have experience of working in a similar environment i.e. Complaints or Customer Service and be seeking a change of direction or to take the next step in your career.

The main aim of a Collections Agent is to discuss accounts with customers that have gone into arrears and find solutions to get the accounts back up to date. You will be arranging repayment plans with customers ensuring that these are affordable. You will investigate any other reasons as to why the account has fallen into arrears.

You'll have a natural aptitude to communicate effectively with people as well as excellent organisational skills to deal with the associated administration duties.

As you'll be working in the financial services sector so part of the process will involve a credit check which will not affect your credit rating.
