Customer Service Assistant - ASAP START

Temporary - 6 months, with a view to going permanent

Solihull - Free on-site car parking

Paying £11.28 - £11.79 per hour (£22,000 - £23,000)

Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.00

This is a great opportunity for someone with all round customer service and administration skills.

Used to a challenging and varied role you will be responsible for managing customers' expectations from start to resolution.

Joining a small, but fun and friendly team, you will be:

*Managing the order process from request to delivery
*Managing customers' expectations efficiently by liaising with customers and colleagues regarding a variety of customer queries relating to their order via telephone and email - status of delivery, returns, replacements
*Using a bespoke system to continually update customer records, scheduling replacements and crediting accounts
*Supporting the warehouse team with any ad hoc urgent dispatch orders
*Providing solutions to complaints as necessary
*Assisting the sales department with quotations
*Following policies, procedures and representing core values

You will:

*Have a can-do attitude, with an excellent telephone manner and communications skills
*Be calm under pressure, happy to roll your sleeves up and excellent at building and developing good relationships
*Good at problem solving, you will be highly customer and colleague focussed
*Possess an excellent data entry speed and accuracy, you will have excellent attention to detail
*PC literate you will have excellent Excel skills
*Enjoy a varied role where you can take responsibility and use your own initiative
