Paying £10.30 per hour - £21,400
Monday - Friday working 40 hours

Do you possess excellent communication skills, whilst having an empathic nature?
Are you an experienced Administrator with excellent prioritisations skills?

Working within a busy department, you will be joining a small but friendly team:

As Booking Clerk you will be:

*Answering a high volume of inbound calls in a professional and welcoming manner
*Facilitating patient enquiries regarding appointments and other services available
*Prioritising bookings as advised by management on a daily basis
*Assisting with the management of requests for patient reports with total confidentiality ensuring that data protection is maintained at all times
*Ensuring any complaints that cannot be swiftly resolved are referred to the Manager
*Assisting with the cancellation of appointments due to sickness or mechanical breakdown by contacting patients and regarding appointments via letter or telephone
*Using PPS (Private Patient System) to update with notes of repeat reports
*Conducting monthly or quarterly audit/searches or spreadsheets as required
*Using Microsoft Word to type documents as and when required
*Flexible to cover for annual leave and sickness where require with additional duties

You will:

*Have previous Receptionist/Telephonist, customer service experience or used to receiving a high volume of inbound calls
*Offer a polite, friendly, efficient and professional level of customer service to all
*Possess a confident phone manner, whilst remaining professional and emphatic at all times where required
*Be a competent Administrator with accurate keyboard skills
*Ideally be experience on PPS - Private Patient System - this is desirable but not essential
